IRONMAN® 70.3 Italy Emilia Romagna

The desire for triathlon does not end with the exciting IRONMAN® Italy Emilia Romagna, the "long distance" triathlon!
We are happy to announce the second highly anticipated event on the beach of Fantini Club in Cervia: the Italian edition of IRONMAN 70.3 (called "half distance") in Cervia!

IRONMAN 70.3 Italy Emilia-Romagna will take place the day after the long-distance IRONMAN Italy Emilia-Romagna, giving athletes from all over the world the opportunity to choose the race best suited to their characteristics but also to support each other on the same weekend and in the same place.
The athletes will face the first swimming fraction in a single lap that will start from the beach of Cervia followed by the 90km by bike that will start from the seafront. The route will take the athletes through the Romagna countryside, crossing the Saline Natural Park where it will be easy to see flamingos in their natural habitat. The cycling route continues along the roads of Forlimpopoli to Bertino, "the balcony of Romagna", crossing the vineyards of the famous Sangiovese wine. From Bertinoro, the return towards Cervia will complete the last running fraction for 21.1 km in the heart of the historic centre of Cervia Milano - Marittima, discovering some of the iconic places such as the Magazzini del Sale and the Torre di San Michele.
